Location and Surrounding Area
Located near the heart of Amalfi and featuring a panoramic terrace with spectacular sea views, this elegant eight-bedroom villa is the perfect place for those who seek complete relaxation on one of the most famous stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. Deemed an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape by Unesco, the Amalfi Coast is one of Italy's most memorable destinations. Here, mountains plunge into the sea in a vertical scene of precipitous crags, cliff-clinging abodes and verdant woodland.

Thanks to its enviable geography between the eastern and western parts of the Mediterranean, Amalfi became politically and economically important to the Byzantine Empire, and a promoter of Christianity in northern Africa. Tucked between mountains and sea, Amalfi is a town best explored on foot. While Piazza Duomo and the main street are home to most shops and restaurants, spend some time exploring the quieter side streets, where you will find arched passageways, hidden gardens and tiny piazzas.

Conca dei Marini is a pearl on the Amalfi Coast amongst scented lemon orchards and flamboyant flowers. Less renowned than the nearby Amalfi, Ravello and Positano, this tiny town has impeccably preserved the old charm of a fishing village, with white houses tucked into the rock, like precious stones in a sculpted setting. It first made headlines in 1962, as Jacqueline Kennedy, on holiday with her children in Ravello, would depart from Conca dei Marini’s port for waterskiing trips with the Agnelli family.

Maiori's wide stretch of beach that covers about a kilometer of coastline in fine and large-grain sand is the town's top attraction, making it a lively and popular destination. The Amalfi Coast does not have many sandy beaches: the coastline is instead home to countless tiny coves lined with rocks or small beaches with pebbles worn smooth by the waves. The main seafront beach was formed as a result of the catastrophic floods of 1954 which destroyed the historic center and is located next to the rebuilt modern center.

Nestled high on a hill above Amalfi, Ravello was founded by the Romans and rose to prominence in the Middle Ages. However, it earned its reputation as a modern-day Shangri-La by luring the most gifted artists of each era. Ravello is famous for its ravishing gardens and stupendous views, the best in the world according to former resident Gore Vidal. The Ravello Festival is a classical music festival held in the gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, and in a fabulous auditorium designed by Oscar Niemeyer.

The center of Amalfi is just 3 km from the villa, Conca dei Marini is less than 2 km, Minori is 7 km, Maiori is 8 km, Ravello is 9 km, Praiano is 11 km, Positano is 14 km, Vietri sul Mare is 24 km, Pompeii is 37 km, Herculaneum is 52 km, and Naples is 60 km. The villa is located near the center of Amalfi, where bars, restaurants and all the necessary services can be easily found.

The Property
Located just a stone’s throw from the center of Amalfi, Villa Francesca provides the ultimate retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in one of the most evocative corners on the Amalfi Coast. With spectacular views over the turquoise sea, Villa Francesca can accommodate 16 guests in 8 double bedrooms spread over the main villa (7 bedrooms) and the dépendance (1 bedroom).

Offering a peaceful atmosphere, the villa boasts an exclusive Mediterranean garden spread over multiple levels and equipped with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind while enjoying the charming panorama. The villa also boasts a hot tub for eight people and al fresco lounge areas with sofas and gazebos for relaxing and socializing. With gorgeous views of the sea, the outdoor area is the perfect retreat to sunbathe or just sip a cocktail while enjoying the sea breeze.

The sauna, the large hot tub and the private access to the sea complete the wellness services that guests can enjoy during their stay. You will find the sauna and the hot tub outdoors. Sun loungers on the rocky platform allow guests to admire the panorama from sea level. The natural rocky platform, with access to the sea, is equipped with a private pier from which, with a free water taxi, you can quickly reach the picturesque restaurants on the nearby Santa Croce beach and Conca dei Marini beach. You can reach the platform through a flight of steps (about 300 steps).

Flooded with natural light, the villa boasts a spacious living room with large glass doors overlooking the sea. From the living room, you can access the generous garden. With exclusive pieces of Oriental furniture, the living room boasts comfortable sofas and armchairs with plenty of seating. On the ground floor you will find a fully-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher and all the amenities you might need during your stay. On the ground floor you will also find two guest bathrooms.

Main Villa (7 Bedrooms):
The main villa features seven double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathroom with shower, which are spread over two floors. With a contemporary design, all bedrooms feature a large window overlooking the sea. With a palette of soft and warm tones, the ground floor (which is the hall level) features three comfortable double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathroom with shower. One of these bedrooms can be converted into a twin room. Moreover, one of these rooms has access to an outdoor area with Jacuzzi.

The upper floor features four double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathroom. Upon request, one of these bedrooms can be converted into a triple room by adding an additional bed (a single bed for one extra guest). This way, the villa can accommodate up to seventeen guests.

Dépendance (1 Bedroom):
Surrounded by a lovely garden, the property features a dépendance which is located about 100 meters from the other rooms. Offering a serene atmosphere, the dépendance features a comfortable double bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower. This room also has access to an outdoor area complete with Jacuzzi.
